We're dog loving professionals! We offer an exceptional salon service, and specialise in wool coat pedigrees and cross breeds. We have combined 30+ years experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and can give you the highest standard of pet trims, breed standard cuts, or cuts tailored to your requests. Whether you have a Poodle in the Continental trim, a Scottie with all the furnishings or a Cavapoo in a Teddy Bear style, we've got you covered. We opened our salon in August 2020 to provide a welcoming, relaxed and safe environment for your pet. Our salon has a hydraulic bath and the most dynamic hydraulic tables on the market to aid with large dogs and dogs with mobility problems such as Arthritis.
We've worked hard to find the best of the best products to use at the salon. We use high quality professional shampoos, and source grooming sprays, spa mud etc. from the most highly reputable retailers. All of our products have benefits for your dogs coat type and skin, and we also cater to dogs with allergies and sensitivities.
Meet Our Expert Groomers
Ellie from Elle&Bell Dog Grooming brings over 14 years of grooming expertise. She is passionate about pampering your pets and is currently welcoming new clients! Ellie is an exceptional groomer, and has a huge variety of breeds and trims in her portfolio. She is incredibly dedicated to her work, and is often accompanied by her 17 year old Lhasa Apso - Bella. Ellie has recently joined us at The Dog Retreat Spa, and is accepting new clients from Northwich & Surrounding Areas!
Kimberley - Salon Owner with 13 years experience, and proud dog mum of Teddy (Toy Poodle), Lunabelle (Poochon), and Nala (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). Kimberley has been grooming dogs since age 15 when she volunteered at a salon near her home in Stockport. She is incredibly passionate about grooming and building positive, rewarding relationships with dogs in her care. Kimberley enjoys doing teddy bear trims, and more technical grooms such as breed standard cuts and hand stripping!
Hi, I'm Hannah - I run the back end/admin side of the salon these days. I am a fully trained dog groomer, but enjoy more of the business running side of things. I've been privileged to work with one of the worlds biggest and oldest dog grooming product brands, which has allowed me insight into the science of coat care and dog grooming theory. I have worked alongside world champion dog groomers, and am now taking on a more educational role at the salon, hosting seminars for pet owners, and I'll soon be releasing some online short courses too!
